Every Ultimate Pool USA Open Event uses our signature tournament structure to deliver maximum action and opportunity:
Group Stages: All players start in round-robin groups, guaranteeing multiple matches and plenty of table time.
Main Event Knockouts: Top players from the groups advance to the main single-elimination stage — where titles and major cash prizes await.
Second-Chance Event: Didn’t make it through your group? You still have a shot. Our second-chance bracket gives every player more matches and another opportunity to make a deep run.
Match Conditions: Every match operates with an unofficial 30-second shot clock, and all TV table games feature a match clock — adding pace, excitement, and pressure to the action. (Note: UPscore is not used in Open Events.)
